Residential Youth Counselor - Albany, NY or Schenectady, NY

Our new base rate for this position will be $17/hour effective 11/1/2021!!

A valid, clean driver's license is required.

 

$1,000 Sign on Bonus for Full-time *

$500 Sign on Bonus for Part-time (20 or more hours)*

**will receive first half of sign on bonus after completing 90 days of employment and will receive the second half after completing 6 months of employment**

New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination to successfully complete onboarding for a position in our Residential Treatment Facility.

Residential Youth Counselors are part of a team that provides direct support and teaches life skills in a dormitory or cottage environment to adolescents who struggle with challenges including abuse, neglect, mental health, and behavioral issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be 19 years of age or older as per regulatory requirements
  • Valid and clean (less than 6 points) driver’s license required
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends required
