Senior Analyst

BT Wealth Management (“BTWM”) is an independent, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor that provides comprehensive investment management and financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and families. We take pride in our culture and are looking to add a talented individual seeking to be part of a dynamic, growing wealth management firm.

BTWM is looking for a Senior Analyst to work closely with the Chief Investment Officer on the firm’s investment program, with a focus on public markets. The Senior Analyst will play a vital role in manager selection and investment monitoring, as well as macroeconomic research and asset allocation.


  • Perform investment research and make well-researched, high conviction recommendations.
  • Perform strategy and operational due diligence on managers, ETFs, and other pooled vehicles.
  • Make strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations supported by both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Assist advisers in supporting client relationships, in whatever form required. We are a small firm and adhere to an all hands on deck mentality when it comes to serving our clients.
  • Enhance the investment discussion, based on evidence and reason, in a collegial atmosphere. We strive for a smart, driven research team willing to challenge, and be challenged.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. We deal with a complex subjects that must be delivered in a comprehensible manner to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to structure responsibilities and meet deadlines while maintaining an exploratory mindset. We have a day-to-day job that must be done well, but a successful investment program also requires curiosity and creativity that cannot be reduced to a checklist.
  • Strong technical skills that demonstrate a bottom-up understanding on capital markets and facility with the principles underlying portfolio construction.
  • Interpersonal skills that deepen our network within the investing universe and drive new ideas.
  • Willingness to be the lone dissenting voice in a room.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience making investment recommendations within an investment team.
  • Strong excel skills, with experience performing statistical analysis preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
