Summary

The IT ERP Business Analyst - Warehouse will drive continuous improvement projects and future phasing of ERP related functionality, as well as provide next level of support after key users. This role has a deep focus on logistics, warehousing, shipping and will also work on cross-functional efforts. They will partner with our business users to understand problems/opportunities and requirements; improve system solutions and related business processes; assist with data, testing, and training; and provide support where needed, liaising with vendor partners as needed. Essential Functions

  • Work with the Warehouse operations teams to drive and execute initiatives, collaborating with vendor partners and other departments where needed.
  • After key users, next point of escalation for assistance related to overall ERP/WMS functionality and collaboration with vendor partners as needed.
  • Identify, lead, and drive optimization/continuous improvement activities to derive value, collaborating with subject matter experts and leadership across the business. Focus on creating and improving our system, business process, data, and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead ongoing enhancement and upgrade activities; system integration from potential M&A activity; and growth projects. Ensure functionality is appropriately tested and trained.
  • Drive development and implementation of system-enabled business processes, including reporting.
  • Assist with developing and executing test scripts with business users to verify functionality, controls, and security as improvements and upgrades are deployed.
  • Assist in the development of user documentation and training.
  • Assist with data quality activities.
  • Ensure organizational readiness and commitment to ongoing optimization, value realization activities, and enhancements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • College degree in Business, MIS, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of business experience and/or IT, with past ERP experience
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management platforms
  • Previous experience with ERP in a distribution environment strongly desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products expected (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of how technology, processes, and data can enable problems and opportunities
  • Capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross-functional upstream and downstream impacts
  • Demonstrated experience with project work and change management in demanding and dynamic environments, with tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage small projects
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines with reliability and accuracy
  • Proven ability to collaborate, lead, facilitate, and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, and functional spectrums
  • Strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new concepts
  • Ability to handle quick decision-making and influence others
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools desired (Power BI, JetReports); proficiency with Microsoft Office products expected (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
