Key responsibilities are working with the Retail Market Managers, Branch Managers and Community Business Banking Officers (CBBO’s) to assist in deepening the business client relationship by cross selling our suite of Treasury Products, including but not limited to Business Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, and Positive Pay. Must be able to analyze bank statements and create proposals for clients timely and accurately. Must have strong written and verbal communication with customers, employees, and with business principals to attract their full deposit and cash management relationships.  Must be proficient at calling on businesses, documentation, tracking results, implementation, and follow up.


Responsibilities for sales, service, leveraging partnerships, teamwork and must be able to provide fulfilment requests for Treasury Management Products.



  • Adheres to 1st Security Bank core values, policies, and procedures along with audit and compliance standards as well as our mission and vision statement. Is a subject matter expert in Cash Management products, services and takes the lead on business requests for proposals for the Retail Branch markets and Community and Business Banking
  • Achieves assigned goals for Retail Banking business deposit growth
  • Regularly conducts in-person or virtual calls with Personal Bankers, Branch Managers, Market Managers, CBBO’s and the Director of Community and Business Banking
  • Follows up on referrals timely and provides feedback to the bankers, including closed and lost deals
  • Engages in business development activities for new business prospects
  • Provides cross training to Personal Bankers, Branch Managers and CBBO’s to include feedback and follow through
  • Participates in various internal committees assigned by Leadership
  • Maintains an advanced knowledge of financial industry status and trends
  • Refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person and verifies, as needed, the necessary follow through with customers and/or employees involved.
  • Provide leadership by actively supporting assigned branches with onsite help with prospects and deepening current client relationships
  • Assumes responsibility for special projects; gathers data and shares knowledge
  • Meets weekly with the Market Manager’s and Community & Business Banking Director via phone, zoom, or in person
  • Attends team meetings with respected teams
  • Provides completed Cash Management packages to business partners timely and with accuracy
  • Supports management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and represents the Bank with a high level of integrity
  • This position must travel

  • Degree in business, marketing or finance preferred or equivalent work experience of at least five years of banking experience in a sales or management position.
  • Proven success in establishing new business relationships and consistently achieving production goals.
  • Demonstrably very well-organized as to time management, contact management, records management.
  • Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that pertain to this position; must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes.
  • Knowledge of key bank regulations, including, but not limited to, Know Your Customer, the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures, and related programs.



To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
