The HCMC Physician Practice Manager is responsible for multiple duties associated with HCMC Physician Practice Management. The position must take primary responsibility for many of the day to day operations in assigned HCMC physician practices and reports regularly on this activity to the Chief Business & Physician Development Officer. In order to carry out essential job functions, Manager must be able to work in conjunction with all providers in these clinics as well as the Assistant Director of Physician Practice Management and the Physician Practice Billing Manager.

EDUCATION & TRAINING: 

Education: High school diploma or GED.  Certifications in medical billing and coding desirable.  Able to use/learn electronic and computer-based patient management and health information software and hardware as requested. 

EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 5-10 years hospital, ambulatory surgery center, or physician office billing and management strongly preferred 

Experience managing and supervising physician billers and coders
