1st Security Bank is looking to find a dynamic individual to fill our Cash Management Operations Manager position in our Business Service & Treasury department at our Redstone II location! Responsible for on boarding, implementing, and executing on product and service project that pertain to creating a robust Cash Management Product Suite to sell to clients and prospects of all depository divisions of the bank.Responsible for on boarding, implementing, and executing on product and service project that pertain to creating a robust Cash Management Product Suite to sell to clients and prospects of all depository divisions of the bank.


Responsibilities for sales, service, leveraging partnerships, teamwork and must be able to provide fulfilment requests for Treasury Management Products.



  • Maintains knowledge of treasury products, services, and their functions in the world of cash management along with trends impacting client’s banking activities including technology advances and compliance/regulatory trends.
  • Ensures treasury products and services are reviewed for efficiency and client satisfaction, for bank retention of vendor or product and service.
  • Perform tasks as the project lead for the Treasury Management Team on researching and implementing treasury products and services
  • Create White Papers on the ‘why’ products and services should be added, enhanced  or removed from the Bank’s treasury product suite including understanding potential limitations on products to be considered based on bank size   
  • Demonstrates a commitment to process improvement, client facing operating efficiencies with a reduction in operating costs, when possible, client costs analyzed with the idea of client retention/prospecting along with department profitability with all projects.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from Bank meetings including Treasury Team, Product Committee and potentially Operational Oversight Committee.
  •  Ensure that updates on project status to TMO and/or others are completed timely
  • Ensure treasury project timelines are met.
  • Collaborates with other bank department managers and employees to organize, create and implement projects, using the bank's core values and policies as a guide.
  • Ensure treasury projects adhere to framework and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and guidance on all projects and are trained on treasury products as appropriate. .
  • Being a division liaison with the bank’s project management team to help facilitate with the TMO when vendors need to be reviewed including new product/service on-boarding
  • Provide  cash management support to commercial clients as needed.
  •  Available for projects pertaining to client retention and prospect proposals
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5-10 years’ experience in Cash Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough cash management operational and product knowledge and of knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required.



To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
