POSITION SUMMARY

ECRI is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the accounting department team. The individual will be a “go getter”, strong team player and communicator who’s values aligns with ECRI’s. The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will provide Accounts Receivable support and data entry activities for the accounting department directly reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. The individual will have high visibility to Finance leadership.

Essential Function Statement(s):

  • Process credit card payments, prepare daily deposit, and maintain daily cash log.
  • Prepare monthly cash receipt completeness documents.
  • Invoice processing/management for membership orders and consulting contracts.
  • Send out monthly Accounts Receivable dunning invoices.
  • Distribute Accounts Receivable aging report to project managers/salespeople.
  • Create monthly list of accounts for pending suspension and notice of pending suspension letters.
  • Prepare/send account statements as requested.
  • Create proforma invoices for foreign clients and miscellaneous invoices for speaking engagements.
  • Maintain AR accounts and contact information for client accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve operational issues as they relate to billings and collections.
  • Approve service contracts in customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Enter/maintain service contracts in the accounting system and project identification set-up/creation.
  • Maintain master project identification list.
  • Other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned

Experience: 5 or more years of related experience.

  • Knowledge of Accounting processes and systems, including GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
  • Microsoft Dynamics SL Solomon Accounting and CRM software systems experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with functional departments outside of Finance.
  • World-class organizational skills, encompassing an extremely high attention to detail required, a strong ownership-ethic, and intense focus on accuracy and accountability.
  • A self-starter who is also a team player with demonstrated abilities to collaborate effectively across the business

Education: Minimum of an Accounting Associates Degree; Bachelor degree preferred

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 2016+; Intermediate Level Excel and Word skills
