The Role:

Eisner Health is seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our professional team in Lynwood, California. As a member of the Eisner Team, the Dental Front Office Coordinator is responsible for performing all job activities in both patient appointment scheduling, telephone operation, accurate and timely registration of patients for the various dental and specialty departments; duties include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Handle all outside telephone calls to the Center and processing them accordingly.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate patient demographics and updating data in patient’s chart and in the computer.
  • Conducts financial triage and processing of patient’s dental insurance information.
  • Assists patients needing appointments and provides them with accurate information regarding their appointments.
  • Completing, process and following up with all internal and external dental referrals.
  • Demonstrate good customer service standards in dealing with people both in-person or via telephone.
  • Provides accurate direction and instructions to customers when they enter the Center.



  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Knowledge of basic dental terminology.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • A minimum of two (2) year’s dental clerical experience in the front office.
  • Must know and understand various dental insurance requirements.
  • Preferably a Certified Dental Assistant.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of computer, multi-button telephone, and simple business machines; must learn the Center’s computer and telephone system within one month of hire.
  • Must demonstrate excellent people/customer relation skills; must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Must learn procedures in appointment and telephone operator within three month of cross-training.
  • Must demonstrate excellent telephone and customer service relation skills.
  • Must keep working area neatly.
  • Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment for the overall success of the team and adapt to the workflow of different sites.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook required.
