On-Call Welcome Host Role Description

A Welcome Host ensures a positive, well informed, first impression for all who visit or call our campus home. They provide administrative support as requested to all staff. It is the primary responsibility of the Welcome Host to greet incoming guests, provide excellent customer service and to create a safe and friendly environment for every person they encounter.


Provide a WOW Experience and Ensure Every Guest is Connected To the Appropriate Next Step

  • Provide outstanding hospitality and care, being the first to greet and welcome in all situations
  • Ensure the Lobby Desk and the Entry Way is clean and presentable, producing a highly engaging experience
  • Be fully informed at all times as to all various aspects of the Church in order to help lead each person to the appropriate next steps
  • Work directly with the Connections Team to ensure strong follow up with each person seeking a next step

Provide Basic Administrative Support to All Staff

Be a Front Line Culture Carrier That Leads People Towards The Vision and Culture of CHCC

Utilize Church Database (Fellowship One)

Complete Other Duties Assigned by Supervisor

Model Servant Leadership and Exhibit a Helpful, Joyful Attitude

Model a Growing and Vibrant Relationship with Christ

  • Pursue full devotion to Christ and live the life we are inviting others to live
  • Manifest the fruit of the Spirit in work habits and relationships

Demonstrate a Commitment to Growth

  • Receive and apply training and development from the Guest Services Director
  • Attend Guest Services Team training, development, and team-building events


  • Proficient computer skills


HOURS PER WEEK: 0-19 as scheduled
