Digital Production Artist
Job Details


The Digital Production Artist is the final touchpoint in a creative design process. You ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality and more. As a Production Artist, you scale and crop, retouch, adjust layouts, create web assets and eliminate redundancy in copy. You are picking up designs and you take them across the finish-line, adding finishing touches and checking for errors, all while maintaining the integrity of our brands. You not only can process images, but you’re highly organized and can work with both designers and developers to make sure we are following specs and requirements to the letter. The Digital Production Artist will report directly to the Creative Director in the Digital department.


  • Provide the finishing details and design for responsive web layouts, as well as visual branding.
  • Able to take conceptual designs and create established style guides and documentation around the integrity of the site design.
  • Collaborate with the creative director and product designers to take concepts and wireframes and execute best practice design and UX/UI treatments for AMU websites and digital products.
  • Collaborate with the front end developers to make sure design is understanding technical needs and asset requirements.
  • Responsible for the creation as well as the organization of image assets, graphics, icons and other libraries that a web product might require as it’s finishing its design process.


  • You understand the basics of UX/UI design principals
  • You are proficient in Adobe CC, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • You take general instruction on known projects and detailed instructions on new projects and can execute the tasks assigned to you
  • You communicate well with members of the team and are not afraid to ask questions about a specific task or assignment
  • You understand your main contribution to a product is usually picking up key design-styles and applying those across wireframes or site components
  • You have an eye for detail, and you exercise scrutiny of the finishing-design work you are applying
  • You enjoy a variety of work across many different brands and web expressions of those brands


  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Proficient in XD, Photoshop and Illustrator
