Position Summary:
This is a flexible new and unique part-time position at a private Jewish day school supporting the inclusion of 2 students with developmental disabilities. You may work partial days or full days or a combination of hours. Some hours may be pre-determined to align with teacher collaboration times.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Participation in developing goals for student growth and learning
- Curriculum adaptation for students with specialized learning needs
- Direct instruction for students with specialized learning needs
- Collaboration and consultation with paraeducators, classroom teachers, educational team and administration
- Parent communication
- Participation in planning meetings, parent meetings, team meetings
- Partners with school based related service personnel and private providers to meet the goals and needs of students

About the Program
This is a new partnership supporting inclusive education in a community based private day school on the North Side of Chicago.
