Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Glenwood’s Children’s Center provided early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI) services for children ages 2-6 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work in our outpatient clinic to lead a team of behavior techs in providing the highest quality of comprehensive services to our clients.

 

BCBAs will provide direct assessments to clients, develop their treatment plans, and train RBTs to implement the plans throughout the client’s day. BCBAs will provide ongoing supervision to RBTs, while also providing practicum supervision to ABA assistants who are enrolled in a master’s program in applied behavior analysis. Additionally, BCBAs with meet with parents monthly to review progress and provide training on implementing skills in the home.

 

At the Children’s Center, BCBAs are a part of our administrative team that works together to maintain the highest level of care to our clients. In addition to leading your own team of RBTs, you get to work closely with other BCBAs for peer review.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Work collaboratively with agency professionals to ensure that individuals served on assigned caseload are provided highest quality behavior analytic services available

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, including descriptive assessments and functional analyses

• Develop Behavior Intervention Plans/Skill Acquisition Programming

• Create and monitor data collection systems

• Provide competency-based staff training on behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programing • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians/RBTs

• Provide crisis management, consultation, plan monitoring, and feedback as needed

• Complete related paperwork including progress reports and billing documentation

• Assist in the development and implementation of ABA staff training programs in a variety of settings, as assigned

 

 

EXPERIENCE: 1+ year(s) of experience in the field of developmental disabilities

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • MA/MS/M.Ed. In psychology, special education, or related field, concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst in Alabama
  • 1+ years(s) of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
  • Current AL driver's license and must be insurable through Glenwood's contracting insurer.
  • Certification in agency provided training in 1st Aid, CPR, MCS (Managing Crisis Safely)

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must clear all background checks and pre-hire testing.
