Description

Position Description:

The Manager, Air Services will assist the Travel Operations departments throughout each stage of the travel program and must be able to adapt to different work situations and be a problem solver. They will also create structure for the department by updating policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Airline contract negotiation and management
  • Provide airline quotes and sample air schedules for proposals
  • Manage airfare budgets for events
  • Timely and effective ticketing of client travelers
  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills
  • Maintain and update Air Services guidelines and policies
  • Quality Control of arrival / departure manifests
  • Quality Control of all air billings
  • Participate in Sales presentations as needed for programs that include air travel
  • Build and maintain relationships with airlines and transportation companies
  • Book travel arrangements for JNR executives, employees and clients
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Strong Sabre Red skills 5-10 years min.
  • TRAMS -5 years
  • Strong excel skills a plus for client and internal reports
  • Cvent knowledge a plus to work in combination with Registration team
  • Creating Air Bills and Reporting using TRAMS system
  • ARC Reporting
  • Strong airline contract negotiation skills
  • Group travel experience
  • Handle Debit/Credit Memos
  • Incentive and meeting travel experience
  • Strong ticketing and exchange/re-issue skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Sharepoint
