BWH Nurse Practitioner - per diem
Description: We are seeking per diem Adult Medicine or Family Practice Nurse Practitioners (NP) to perform medical consultations, physical exams, and rounding for adults on our psychiatric units with mental health, substance use and/or dual diagnosis conditions in an inpatient locked environment. The NP will assess health status, identify treatment issues, and recommend treatment plans including documentation and collaboration with the treatment team. Incumbent performs duties in accordance with corporate, organization and department policies and procedures while adhering to the overall mission of Bournewood Health Systems.

Qualifications: Required: *Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license from the Massachusetts Board of Nurses Registration to practice in the expanded role of a nurse practitioner. * Must also hold proper certificates of DEA, MA controlled substance registration, and current CPR certification. * Must have at least 1 year post-degree experience working as a Family Practice or Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner. * Must be available to provide weekend, holiday and vacation coverage on a per diem basis.
