Job Summary
We have an opening for a Quality Technician in our Quality Department! This individual will support and execute activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies work packages and completed work to ensure incorporation of required precise measurements and tests, as well as the proper controls
- Implements the plans required to carry out quality test projects as assigned
- Initiates material review, disposition, annual and customer required over-checks
- Conducts authorization to ship for manual and electronic submission/approval activities for production order processes
- Directs the utilization of the appropriate sampling procedures
- Reviews supplier purchase orders
- Facilitates specification review and interpretation for Quality Engineering file maintenance
- Checks the work of measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
- Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of testing, measurement, and analytical equipment
