Summary of Position

The Student Director, Summit en Espanol Campus gives oversight and leadership to the Student Ministry (5-12th grade) as well as provides leadership to the Student Ministry Team at The Summit Church Summit en Espanol Campus.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Passionate about connecting students to the global mission of God

  • Ability to connect and equip families

  • Strong communication skills

  • Passion for student ministry 

  • Teachable spirit and willingness to learn

  • Proven leader and strong ability to cast vision and develop leaders

  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in leading a student ministry

  • A member of The Summit Church or willing and able to become a member



  • Knowing, loving, and shepherding its congregation

  • Growing congregational engagement

  • Mobilizing and developing leaders

  • Contextualizing and executing ministry programs and events. 

    • Ministry Programming 

      • Oversight of MS Ministry for 5th-8th grade students during weekend services 

      • Partnership with Blue Ridge Campus for oversight of HS WKLY for 9th-12th grade students

      • Assisting and Participating in the planning/execution of Summer Camp and Retreat

      • Scheduling and Placing SG Leaders in Small Groups

      • Scheduling Master Teaching (when necessary)

      • Planning services, etc. and executing all aspects of programs

      • Making sure all Student Ministry events are executed with excellence

    • Facilities and Supplies

      • Keeping all environments and supplies up to Summit Standards

    • Curriculum

      • Making sure Small Group Leaders have weekly curriculum and are utilizing it accordingly.

    • Systems

      • Maintaining and updating FTG Follow Up

      • Maintaining and updating Weekly Attendance Tracking

      • Implementing Recruitment Process for Mission Trips, Camps, etc.
