What you will do:

  • Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10 AM - 6 PM + occasional Wednesdays, evenings & weekends
  • Provide excellent customer service retail transactions, including by phone and email responses and Salesforce case resolutions.
  • Provide prompt retail service to customers in council shops, by phone and via ecommerce.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a high quality, customer friendly, timely and efficient manner that will yield overall customer satisfaction and ensure a professional image of the organization.
  • Schedule and provide mobile shop opportunities for customers during weeknights and weekends in locations throughout the council jurisdiction.
  • Maintain the sales floor in an orderly fashion. Collaborate with the Director of Retail & Customer Care on design/set-up or retail space to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to mail distribution, bank deposits, supply orders, maintaining office equipment and conducting annual inventory physical counts.
  • Process memberships through Salesforce and support annual council membership plans.
  • Provide customer care expertise to support council operations as needed or requested

Who we are looking for:

  • A person with an Associates degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience and someone with a minimum of two years demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive customer service and working in Salesforce or similar CRM and a POS system.
  • Prior experience in retail and/or general office administrative work is required.
  • An acceptable criminal background check and driver history

What else do you need:

  • Subscribe to the principles of the Girl Scout Movement and become and remain a registered member of GSUSA, Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont.
  • Knowledge of Girl Scout philosophy, standards, program, and systems are desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to work regular and varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Successfully pass criminal and driver background investigation.
  • A valid state-issued drivers license, valid auto insurance, acceptable driving record and access to a vehicle on a daily basis and willingness and ability to travel throughout the councils geographic area.
