Description

Summary of Position

This position provides executive support to the External Ministries team, serving as a coordinator for relationship and process management. This position will work directly with all team leads on the External Ministries Teams to help manage and coordinate the efforts of key leaders to execute approved initiatives. The position is responsible for assisting and resourcing lay leaders at The Summit Church in planning and executing marketplace initiatives independently while aligning with the overall vision and mission of The Summit Church. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Administrative gifting, strong organizational skills, and detail-oriented 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally 

  • Discretion in handling personal and/or confidential information 

  • Ability to multi-task numerous projects with clarity, flexibility, and focus while meeting deadlines

  • Above average proficiency with Google Apps, Apple products, & Microsoft Office 

  • Self starter with the capacity to meet self-imposed deadlines

  • Servant spirit – willing to support in multiple capacities

  • Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth, as required of all church employees (church membership, small group membership, tithing, etc.)

  • A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Administration - Marketplace initiatives

    • Provide logistical support for lay-led groups (FDE groups, Global Marketplace groups, etc)

      • Support lay leaders in planning meetings & managing RSVPs

      • Receipt reimbursements, catering, room setup

    • Handle intake, interest forms, & applications for entrepreneur & mentoring programs

    • Coordinate logistics for marketplace pilot projects, including marketplace forums or mid-level gatherings

  • Administration - JDGM 

    • Provide support for JDGM meetings (reservations, scheduling, catering, materials prep) 

    • Process invoices & serve as point of contact for Summit finance team

    • Maintain list of key JDGM contacts (endorsers, partners, major donors, etc)

    • Administer filing system for publishing including contracts, book proposals, endorsement contacts, and distribution partners

    • Coordinate with PJD assistant on external speaking requests, scheduling podcast recordings, and promotional interviews

  • Administrative Support - Executive Director of External Ministries

    • Work with external director to create & maintain relationship development cadence for strategic relationships & key stakeholders

    • Schedule internal integration meetings involving multiple team members and/or external partners 

    • Process expense reports, credit card reconciliations, reimbursements

    • Scheduling & coordinating travel as needed
