Job Summary

Smalley is currently hiring a 3^rd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to work within our Manufacturing Team. Must have mechanical experience including experience operating high speed and semi-automatic equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervises a wide range of administrative and support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the department
• Assists with scheduling daily workload and assigning work to the team
• Assists with the planning and implementation of training programs
• Strives to achieve team and individual specified production targets
• Leads and assists continuous improvement projects in the department
• Dedicated to employee safety, product quality, and meeting daily goals

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or related environment required
• 3-5 years of experience working in a leadership role
• Mechanical experience including: operation of high-speed automatic and semi-automatic equipment required
• Experience measuring parts with precision instruments including: micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and decision-making skills
• Pass required exam of basic math and English
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
