POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Fuels Division Billing Associate position is responsible for preforming multiple administrative functions to support the Sales, Actualization and Operational Accounting departments. The major functions of this position include analyzing current processes, reviewing accounting transactions for accuracy, entering sale deals into Right Angle, analyzing sales data and increasing overall efficiency within the Operational Accounting department. The Fuels Division Sales Analyst position is located in Belle Vernon, PA.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Sales Account Managers by translating new contract details/requirements into Right Angle Sale deals, gathering invoice requirements, addressing billing inquiries and reviewing daily movement details.
  • Review accounting transactions for pick up and delivered business. This includes reviewing pricing from multiple sources including OPIS, Platts and Nymex, in addition to special pricing received from the Sales Account Managers. For delivered business, this will also include reviewing quotes and ensuring the freight and miscellaneous delivered fees are accurate based on the customer contracts.
  • Deal entry into Right Angle including fixed forward contracts, OPIS, Nymex and Platts pricing-based contracts, evergreen deals and spot deals for special pricing.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments to coordinate the set-up of new delivered and pickup customers.
  • Review daily committed gallons. In the event of a mid-day price change, ensure all committed gallons are billed at the initial agreed upon price and non-committed gallons are subject to the price increase/decrease.
  • Troubleshoot incomplete movements and movements that will not automatch to the available deals.
  • Work with the Risk Team on new price curve set up.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or comparable work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing, and provide relevant and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to process high volumes of data in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Proficiency in Excel is essential. Must know how to use VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Typical 40-hour work week. Eight-hour daily shift can be worked between 7a-6p; however, the incumbent must be able to work flexible hours from time to time as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience working with an ERP or trading software strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with RightAngle or similar ETRM system preferred.
  • Experience in oil & gas industry or related commodity fields preferred.
