Girard College seeks an experienced and full time Elementary School Science Teacher beginning school year September 2022. Our teacher will need to teach scientific content and skills, but also inspire the intellectual curiosity for Science. The program is recently implemented as a sequential and developmentally appropriate curriculum, aligned to provide a strong foundation for our science, technology and math programs in grades 1-8. Our Elementary/Middle School faculty must encourage our students to be actively engaged in the learning process, and to live Girard’s Mission and the core values: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Self-Discipline and Compassion. This position reports to the Dean of Elementary Middle School.
