Upper School Math

Bayside Academy seeks an exceptional, experienced math instructor for the Upper School (grades 7-12). This teacher must be versatile in what courses he or she can potentially teach. He or she must be knowledgeable in content and pedagogy, and able to meet the needs of all learners. The Math curriculum at Bayside Academy is founded upon a student-centered, collaborative pedagogical model and requires a particular skill set from its faculty. In addition to being able to facilitate future focused curricula, strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical. Relationships are the cornerstone to student success, and this individual must be able to build strong, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
