1st Security Bank is looking to find a dynamic and leadership oriented individual to fill our Retail Procedure and Implementation Specialist position at our Mountlake Terrace or Lacey locations! POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for leading retail departments with diverse and advanced operational projects while analyzing efficiencies and processes to identify areas of improvement. Once identified, overseeing the implementation of the new business process.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Acts and participates as Retail Banking SME for bank projects under the retail umbrella
  • Ability to develop, explain, implement, and update processes and procedures.
  • Plans and develops, learning materials and programs in a professional, innovative, creative and engaging manner.
  • Assists retail departments in developing and conducting training programs.
  • Provides support and supplemental training as needed for individual employees.
  • Vendor Manager for contract renewals for Retail including Strategy Corp, Reich and Tang, CWU, Vertical IQ, Harland and Ascensus.
  • Provide support and assist to Retail Executive Admin Assistant to identify and implement efficient reporting as needed.
  • Ability to identify weaknesses in current bank processes to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience
  • Capacity to work with our on-line training system.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills and follow-up when corresponding with employees and customers.
  • Travel to 1st Security Bank locations to meet training needs.
  • Adheres to 1st Security Bank’s Core Values, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and always represents the bank with a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • At least ten years’ experience within a financial institution preferred.
  • Creative ability, writing proficiency, and visual graphics design ability.
  • Thorough knowledge of all regulations.
  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs.
  • Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • Must be bondable.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and have the ability to learn other programs.
