POSITION SUMMARY: Provides administrative support functions related to the activities and operations of Birkeys
precision farming department. Provides office professionalism; realizing the position is usually the first point of contact for
visitors and incoming calls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. Other duties may be
assigned from time to time:

  1. Provides daily service writing support for Precision Farming Department. Support will include the billing of work orders, as well as establishing improved ways to track parts sales, labor sales, and incentives.
  2. Oversees RTK billing process - Work with specialists to compile an accurate list of RTK receiver serial numbers for each location - Generate secure RTK codes for the locations - Work with account receivables to bill customers for yearly RTK codes.
  3. Brings consistent awareness to slow moving and used precision farming product and assists corporate precision farming manager and precision team on plans to get this product moved.
  4. Oversees Precision Farming subscription billing process and leads project to restructure current process.
  5. Creation, implementation, and oversight of Parts, Service, and Precision Farming standard operating procedures share point site and process.
  6. Screens and routes telephone calls and responds to inquiries from the public and vendors by referring calls to appropriate personnel.
  7. Performs a variety of secretarial duties in support of the administrative activities, operations and staff, including receipt/distribution of incoming mail and sending outgoing items.
  8. Coordinates office supply order for entire office.
  9. Aids in the planning and implementation of company events, including arrangements of meals for requested meetings.
  10. Assists in training need of staff by maintaining current records of training and scheduling staff for further required training as directed by Regional Parts and Service Managers. Coordinates with appropriate corporate managers in-house training of new store parts/service Managers to be completed at the corporate office.
  11. May provide support for the executive team in various duties as requested.
  12. Maintains a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Associates degree or its equivalent preferred but not required. Should be able to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision and be able to understand and carryout oral and written directions. Must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest level of customer satisfaction.
The individual should have 2 4 years of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.

Ability to get to and around the corporate office and store locations for various tasks.

Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary.
