At Chesapeake Neighbors, we believe quality housing shouldnt be a luxury. Its a right. Chesapeake Neighbors was founded in 2007 by The Arc Central Chesapeake Region to provide, promote, and support safe, affordable, and accessible housing for all. We currently own and operate 57 units across central Maryland, and were growing. In the last twelve months, Chesapeake Neighbors has completed six new housing units and is currently working on several additional multifamily housing projects.

As we build the future of housing, the Administrative Coordinator will be a pivotal member of the Chesapeake Neighbors team. The coordinator will report to the Executive Director and provide a wide range of support on a variety of projects which will require a deep understanding of administration, property management, and real estate development best practices.

A diligent, flexible thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, the coordinator will be looped in on multiple projects simultaneously and will be asked to contribute to administrative tasks such as managing the Executive Directors calendar, expenses, and internal/external stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate for this position is adaptable as priorities shift and approaches nuanced, multi-pronged projects with a can-do attitude.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, though a BS in Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum of five (5) years experience in providing executive support and/or project coordination within the housing or property management industry. The salary is $55,000 and the position comes with a competitive benefits package.
