The Installation Technician is responsible for installing and setting up equipment within the allocated time for each task. When in the office, they may also be assigned to support other tasks such as Help Desk, Manufacturing, and Quality Control.
Duties and responsibilities
- Properly, timely, and efficiently install equipment and/ or upgrades at a customer’s facility
- Professionally interface with the customer keeping them informed during the site visit
- Properly test and confirm all features and functions perform as designed on the system
- Follow proper escalation policies and procedures
- Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
