At a glance:

This is a mid-level position is responsible for developing ideas for social (paid and organic) and digital video content for platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and beyond to help develop beautiful and exciting visual content.

 

Our agency enjoys a virtual work environment however, there will be an expectation to be onsite for production purposes. We have a dedicated video and photography studio space located in Portland's Pearl District where our main office is located. You will have full access to the studio and be expected to work there when you shoot content. There may be occasional travel for shoots as well.

 

 

 

What does a Digital Video Content Creator do at Rain the Growth Agency?

The ideal candidate has experience conceptualizing and executing engaging social video content for a variety of promotional purposes. In this role, you will collaborate with the creative leads and production teams to concept and execute Videos, GIFs, Cinemographs, Animations, Motion and Static Graphics for Rain clients with a focus on performance-based/direct-to-consumer creative. This role is predominantly dedicated to a particular client in the footwear category, however projects may expand over time for other brands.

  • A finger on the pulse of trending content, filming techniques and sounds on TikTok
  • Experience concepting, planning, shooting and editing original content across multiple social platforms and for a variety social media accounts.
  • Keen eye and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects on tight timelines concurrently.
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment whether individually, with small teams, or with additional freelancers as needed.
  • Ability to translate brand and visual guidelines to come up with fresh and innovative social and digital video concepts.
  • Develop and manage small production budgets and tight schedules.
  • Willing to be scrappy with a get-it-done mindset.
  • Ability to bring social concepts to life quickly and on a small budget
    with little oversight or direction.
  • Experience with multiple camera formats and understand lighting and composition.
  • Understanding of video formats and best practices for producing digital video.
  • Experience recording sound and editing sound & music.
  • Solid overall design and writing skills.
  • Experience storyboarding and visually sharing ideas.
  • Experience presenting ideas to internal teams and clients.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional agency teams including but not limited to Digital Media, Client Service, Project Management, Creative, Production and Post to execute social campaigns that support key marketing initiatives.
  • Solid grasp of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.) and post production work flows.
  • Comfortable learning new technology.

  • Please share your TikTok handle or examples of any work you have done on the platform.
  • Some experience in consumer-focused video content creation for an in-house brand or other agency is a plus.
