POSITION SUMMARY

Performs general office duties in support of the Compliance area.  Responsible for the administration of the Bank’s records retention program.  Responds to compliance and records related questions from Bank staff and supports efforts to comply with laws and regulations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Performs administrative duties for the SVP Compliance Officer; maintaining department related records, preparing, mailing, or drafting of letters, pulling and preparing reports as needed.
  • Create and maintain management reports and dashboards for department related areas.
  • Manages projects as assigned including ownership of specific tasks.
  • Assist with the Bank’s policies and procedure management process.
  • Assists in the administration and maintenance of bank records retention and disposal program.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Represents the Bank with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Adheres to 1st Security Bank’s policies and supports management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma is required; Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required.
  • Each employee must complete all required training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering training suitable to the position at the Bank.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.
  • Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; excellent time-management, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must be bondable.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
