CNMI Instructor - Business Management and Marketing

Summary

Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, develops and presents short courses and/or workshops, providing personal and/or professional education. Specifically performs one or more of the following: Teaches short-term courses and workshops; creates curriculum; establishes and assesses student performance objectives; determines student grades and keeps accurate records. Mix of theoretical and practical sessions will be required to demonstrate student level of knowledge and understanding. A successful candidate will be a business management multi-discipline individual to support multiple concentrations and our various non-credit programs. • Demonstrated knowledge of Leadership, Business Basics and Professional Skills Development.
• Demonstrated teaching or training skills.
• Effective written and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Ability to adjust and adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders and students.
• Additional assignments based on skills may become available.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimums

• Four years of industry or freelance experience (freelance experience to be demonstrated with portfolio review)
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field (may count as four years of experience)
• OR Current industry certifications may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• AND One (1) year of related teaching or training experience.

Preferences

• Current industry certification in Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).
• Experience with Organizational Behavior, Communications, Corporate Training.
