Summary:

We're adding team members because we continue to grow! The Senior Account Executive is responsible for selling static and digital Out-Of-Home advertising solutions to regional and national advertisers based in LA and Orange County, to both direct customers and advertising agencies. This position works closely with company Sales Support and Operations to ensure that client advertising campaigns are well planned and executed, resulting in an exceptional customer experience. They will also be responsible for planning and reporting weekly sales activities as part of effectively managing their territory.

 

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively and consistently prospect to develop new leads in order to achieve sales goals.
  • Listen closely to prospects and customers and provide media plans and strategies that achieve their desired marketing and advertising goals.
  • Work closely with company Operations and Sales Support to ensure that client advertising campaigns are well planned and executed, resulting in an exceptional customer experience.
  • Responsible for planning and reporting activities to effectively manage and grow assigned territory.
  • Maintain and manage existing account relationships in a positive and professional manner.
  • Continue to develop and expand sales knowledge and capabilities by being pro-active and keeping up with media information and trends.
  • Prospect new leads through referrals, industry networking, company databases, and media research.
  • On a weekly basis accurately provide a sales forecast, update opportunities in Salesforce, and log all activity in Salesforce.
  • Negotiate and manage the customer contract agreement process.
  • Co-create proposals and presentations with sales support team utilizing customer and industry experience and knowledge.
  • Track and submit expense reports in accordance with company T&E policies.
  • Travel 30% for sales meetings, customer entertainment, and trade shows.
  • Experienced and effective utilizing video meeting technology for meetings and presentations.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of experience in media/advertising sales.
  • Successful experience developing new sales opportunities by cold calling and appointment setting.
  • Knowledge of ad agency structure and media buying process.
  • Proven relationships with media planners and buyers.
  • Experience selling directly to clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency with sales tools including MS Office suite and SalesForce.com.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Must have dependable transportation for client calls/meetings.
