The Role:
The Director, Project Management provides oversight of the development and completion of projects in the CompSource project portfolio. They will mature the PMO Center of Excellence and develop plan for transition of the PMO to an Enterprise PMO. Duties include providing the organization insight into the project portfolio, lead in the organization and scheduling of projects, and provide oversight/coaching to the project teams in delivering the expected business value according to plan. In addition, the Director, Project Management has responsibility for the project delivery methodology/practices ensuring that project teams are equipped and follow the project business standards. They will manage PMO staff, including performance management, salary administration, and coaching.

Education and Experience:

• 10 years of experience as a Project Management Office (PMO) manager, including maturing a PMO Center of Excellence and leading a PMO journey to an Enterprise PMO
• Experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, up to leading people
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist certification required
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business operations or closely related field required, 4 years of experience, in addition to above requirement, may be considered in lieu of required education

Other Requirements:
This position requires the physical ability to perform extensive repetitive motions in using a computer and the routine use of other office equipment. Work is typically performed while sitting and does not require heavy lifting. Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
