JOIN THE 12th MAN FOUNDATION TEAM!
The 12th Man Foundation is seeking qualified candidates for our part-time Ticketing Events Assistant position. We have positions available for football season only, and other positions that are continuous throughout the year. Choose the one that's best for you! Responsibilities include providing superior customer service to all customers at athletic events in accordance with the mission of the 12th Man Foundation. The most common duties include operating ticket windows, distributing tickets for student ticket admittance events, and basic clerical tasks.
Interviews will begin in May for an estimated start date in August. Unless you will be here for the summer semesters.
TWO SCHEDULE OPTIONS AVAILABLE!
- FOOTBALL SEASON ONLY: August - December
- On weekdays of home games, schedules are between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM on Friday, and weekends for certain occasions. Schedules are assigned based on availability you provide. We request that you have block of time no smaller than four hours on at least two days during the week in the Fall.
- Employees are required to work all Texas A&M home football games. Most shifts are completed by kick-off, but all are completed by half-time at the latest.
- CONTINUOUS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
- In addition to the schedule for football season listed above, employees have the opportunity to work Texas A&M basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, track, and other ticketed events such as concerts. Most events are after 5:00 PM and on weekends. There are events during holiday breaks including winter and Spring Break.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Arrive promptly to all scheduled shifts and events
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, public, faculty/staff, students, and other external customers through timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns or requests.
- Utilize information disseminated from Ticketing Department, such as sales information notes or specific communication from manager
- Respond to customers requests and inquires accurately; refer customer to most qualified internal contact if unable to resolve.
- Work effectively in automated ticketing software
- Accurately manage cash drawers when assigned; responsible for counting cash at the end of shift
- Follow NCAA rules pertaining to student-athletes, recruits, high school coaches and Athletic Department staff
- Maintain dress code standards as appointed by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
- Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
- Previous customer service or retail sales experience a plus; display a genuine desire to help people
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and possible holidays
- Must be able to work all home football games

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Majority of work will be performed in ticketing facilities, including ticket windows, ticket office or athletic facilities.
