ShootProof, LLC. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team that loves crunching numbers and hunting for information. If you have an interest in working with a fun, creative group of people and you have an accounting background with a tech company or public accounting experience, even better. The ideal candidate would be someone who is senior in their accounting career and is looking to share their experience while continuing their career growth. This is a hands-on role, often juggling multiple projects at once.
Duties and Responsibilities
Our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Drafting and recording journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

Partnering with the Controller on various projects including, but not limited to, monthly/annual close and annual audits.

Proactively identifying and communicating general ledger and accounting related issues and researching accounting guidance to provide potential solutions.

Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including but not limited to reconciling bank account and credit card balances.

Recording accruals and adjustments through journal entries to ensure accurate financial information.

Assisting in preparation of financial reporting packages, including intercompany consolidations.

Contributing to the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting processes, including segregation of duties and internal controls.

Managing the Accounts Payable process, including recording invoices and vendor information, ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.

Performing other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time - quite often on short notice.
