Role and Responsibilities:

The Accounting Staff position will carry out accounting functions on behalf of Thompson + Hanson in accordance with GAAP principles.


Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Daily sales reconciliation and accounts receivable
  • All accounting functions related to Land Holdings Subsidiary, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management, property management and tenant relations
  • Monthly bank account reconciliation
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Fixed asset management
  • Assist departments in account reconciliation process on monthly basis
  • Monthly journal entries for month-end close
  • Adhering to Company documentation policies
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Providing clerical back up when necessary
  • Other duties and special projects as needed



  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years accounting experience
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Advanced computer skills on Microsoft Office application; especially Excel
  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
