Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will support the High School Principal and the entire High School Education team in all administrative tasks as they relate to the Education Department.   

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with the High School Principal to ensure compliance of all student and staff paperwork
  • Monitor Education staff training and related records to ensure compliance with program rules and state regulations
  • Track all school attendance for students and staff
  • Assist with updating program calendars and other electronic programming records and distribution as necessary
  • Supply ordering and inventory
  • Communicate regularly with area school district partners and parents regarding registration and other important school matters
  • Answer calls, emails, and voicemails as they relate to the High School and Transitions Program
  • Assist in scheduling educational programs, IEP meetings, events, and team meetings
  • Partner Human Resources on recruiting efforts and onboarding new High School and Transitions program staff
  • Work positively and collaboratively with other department administrators in management of shared vehicles, supplies, space, and staff
  • Assist High School and Transitions staff in managing and maintaining technology and equipment and coordinate with Keshet Billing, Purchasing, and IT when necessary
  • Coordinate student transportation
  • Work with building management on facilities issues
  • Ensures that the overall appearance of the breakroom is clean and organized
  • Partner and communicate with administrative colleagues across the Keshet Organization
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or office manager
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks
  • Previous experience working in an Education setting desired
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, HRIS, Google docs, etc.)
