- Prepare, cook and serve all meals according to the menu and dietary requirements. This includes cutting, mixing, cooking over stovetop, baking and serving, while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, which meets all food safety and sanitation standards, including performing daily refrigeration and freezer temperature checks.
- Assist with planning food orders and deliveries.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service, including supervision of all volunteers and other kitchen helpers.
- Participate in all pre-service facility/kitchen training and scheduled staff meetings
- Ability to maintain shift schedule, as determined by the Facility and Kitchen Managers
- Willingness to learn about autism and participate in pre-service autism-specific training.
