Job Qualifications:
- BA in Accounting or related field and CPA preferred.
- Preferred 5-7 years accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, as well as multi-entity consolidations. International consolidation experience a plus.
- Understanding of accounting in foreign currency preferred (hedging/translation adjustments).
- Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
- Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with co-workers, supervisor and management.
- Follow written (Standard Operating Procedures -SOP’s, company memos & emails) and verbal instructions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

- Minimum of two years related experience with demonstrated aptitude to learn on-the-job.

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to maintain the financial records for specific international subsidiaries of the company and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions of those subsidiaries. This role is responsible for monthly analysis of subsidiary financial performance, budgeting, and variance analysis. This role works closely with the Global Corporate Controller.
Job Duties:
- Review and reconciliation of subsidiary general ledger on a monthly basis, in line with month-end close schedule.
- Perform month-end close duties related to subsidiaries, as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain any GAAP reporting differences between subsidiaries and consolidated group financial statement.
- Calculate adjustments on monthly basis for tax compliance.
- Posting/Reconciliation of subsidiary intercompany accounts.
- Support transfer pricing analysis on regular basis required by taxing authorities.
- Working with Directors of subsidiaries and corporate FP&A, develop annual budget and updated forecast throughout the year.
- Provide documentation for annual/monthly tax filings to outside accountants.
- Posting and review of payroll and related accrual accounts.
- Analyze and post foreign currency translation/remeasurement entries.
- Assist in researching and resolving accounting issues.
- Assist in documenting policies and procedures for finance department
- Assist in annual audit
- Assist with implementation of new systems, controls, policies and procedures to support growth and expansion
- Support for ad-hoc projects as required.
- Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency and notify immediate supervisor of observations and recommendations.
- Meet with department supervisor and team members to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
- May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
- Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
- Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Follow all SOPs in a given area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.

Pay:
This position ranges from $85,000/year to $110,000/year, depending on experience and/or other factors.
