- Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred
- At least 5+ years of experience in a related field, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), volunteer recruitment, community organizing or customer service experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and creatively solve problems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
- Must have cultural proficiency and innate skill in bridging Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) to the Latinx/Hispanic communities.
- Must have a high level of relational intelligence, digital, virtual, and technical proficiency, leadership, learning and innovation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to recognize and respect the many forms of diversity
- Demonstrate a willingness to embrace the Girl Scouts mission, goals, values and council-driven programs
- Valid California drivers license, a clean driving record, and proof of insurance
- Available for council-required events (Annual Meeting, Girls Inspire, and more)
- Experience with engaging community-based organizations
- Familiarity with membership and population demographics
- Ability to analyze and interpret data in order to formulate plans to achieve council membership goals
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
WORK HOUR/TRAVEL
- Must have access to reliable transportation; position will include some work-related travel in the council area.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings and overnight events as needed.
