Description

RISE Early Intervention is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment. Early Intervention programs support families of children from birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs by assisting with learning developmental skills such as motor and language, facilitate engagement in activities, routines and events of everyday life.

We are currently in a search to hire an Executive Director for our Early Intervention Program in Idaho who will be responsible for the management of RISE Early Intervention, LLC in Idaho and its associated programs.  The successful candidate will provide guidance and coaching to program staff to assist in achieving competency in the performance of their job requirements in a manner consistent with the RISE Mission, Vision, and Values as well as assuring the contractual compliance and fiscal management of the program, compliance with all RISE corporate and state policies and procedures and other legal and regulatory requirements and be responsible for exploring opportunities for business expansion and program development. 

MANAGEMENT OF SUPERVISORS/ STAFF / PROGRAM

  • Provide management and supervision of RISE EI program staff in a manner that meets and exceeds the expectation of RISE EI customers
  • Train, coach, and support Early Intervention Supervisors and Team Members
  • Manage systems for referral and intake processes, Team member assignments, and reviews; ensure compliance with federally required 45 day time-lines as applicable.
  • Ensure programs meet expectations of RISE corporate and state policies and procedures; and all requirements of funding agencies; ensure compliance for all contractual requirements through ITP and IDHW through the use of Quality Assurance measures
  • Ensure all staff, employees and sub-contractors are properly trained in service delivery and expectations to deliver quality supports and meet funding source requirements.
  • Manage the maintenance of necessary records, databases, files and other required documentation in a professional, confidential and secure manner
  • Conduct, attend or facilitate regular staff meetings
  • Monitor and audit program performance, independently and with ITP state office for quality of service and contractual compliance
  • Demonstrate competency in financial issues, including budgets, payroll, billing, documentation of units, and exploration of all funding sources to support families and children
  • Through regular supervision, feedback and performance evaluations, ensure that staff, employees, and contractors effectively perform the essential functions of their position
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Child Development, Social Science, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or other related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • At least two years experience in supervision, coaching, management, training, and development of staff
  • Experience creating, evaluating, and implementing systems to monitor program policy/procedure and contractual compliance
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal skills specific to job task required and communicate effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating listening skills
  • Ability to build relationships and to communicate with multiple customers including the families receiving support, service professionals, state personnel and others
  • Ability to interpret and implement RISE & RISE EI policies and procedures regarding these supports: Idaho Infant and Toddler Program (ITP), Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) and third party liability billing.
  • Familiarity with budgetary processes and business management
  • Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology, teaching principles, human behavior or principles of psychology useful
  • Ability to work flexible hours; self-directed, and self-starter
  • Must be able to complete a successful background check.
