Via Seating is hiring for a Part-Time Print Room Operator to join our team in Sparks, NV!!

Our Print Operator will be a highly organized, self-starter with strong attention to detail and asset management. This position will be responsible for running the printer, managing print and small sample orders, and administrative functions to assist the VP of Manufacturing Engineering. The Print Operator position is a safety sensitive position.

The Print Room Operator will work and average of 24 hours/week

between the hours of 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday

Rate of Pay Starts at $17.00/hour!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Running the printer
  • Receipt and input of print and small sample orders in the Visual system
  • Picking, packing and delivery of print and small sample orders to the Shipping Department
  • Managing item inventory, ie: print resources, swag/giveaways
  • Sorting data as assigned in both Excel and internal asset databases as directed
  • Sorting and filing of physical materials including small samples and print materials and other materials as required
  • Special projects as assigned by VP of Manufacturing Engineering to best support Via
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices

Desired Education and Skills:

  • 1+ years in an assistant or admin role
  • Must be proficient with MS Office (namely Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Currently enrolled in BA/BS Marketing degree program or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience working with InDesign is a plus
  • Experience in the furniture industry is a plus
  • Experience working at Via Seating combined with a willingness to learn a new skills set will be considered as commensurate with any of the above qualifications for any internal transfers.

Physical Demands:

  • Vision, hearing and speaking to meet performance standard
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Typical fast-paced office environment combined with a typical production area in an environment that contains dust, odors, moderate level noise, and temperature & ventilation variations while wearing safety glasses
