Job Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED required
  2. BS/BA preferred
  3. Must have excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Sage X3 a plus
  4. Understanding of contractual relationships
  5. Attention to detail
  6. Must be able to work independently and in groups         
  7. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  8. Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  9. Interpersonal skills (ability to work with all levels from hourly to management)
  10. Time management and multi-tasking skills
  11. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Job Summary:

Assist Account Specialists with daily questions and requests. Oversee and handle all collection and lawsuit accounts. Execution of day to day A/R activities and transactions affecting the general ledger.

Job Duties:

  1. Post checks, wires and ACHs daily
  2. Process master request forms
  3. Review A/R monthly and report troubled accounts to Assistant Controller
  4. Handle Key Accounts in conjunction with Key Accounts Manager
  5. Handle Distributor Accounts in conjunction with Distributor Accounts Manager
  6. Track restocking fees for grower return purposes
  7. Process and post monthly storage and/or finance fees
  8. Print and review monthly customer statements
  9. Create and review miscellaneous invoices for employees/customers
  10. Process business name change requests
  11. Review month end journal accounts for accuracy
  12. Monitor credit limit compliance; take appropriate action when limits are exceeded; recommend credit limit changes
  13. Special projects as assigned
  14. Other duties as assigned
  15. Engage in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives

  17. Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
  18. Actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
  19. Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
  20. Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department, to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
  21. Must adhere to all company policies.
  22. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
  23. Follow all SOPs in a given area.
  24. Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
