The Telehealth Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY Intern is responsible for providing telehealth speech language pathology for a Texas Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program. The SLP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children birth to 3 years old. This person must have considerable knowledge for speech delayed and/or communication disorders in children (0-3), medical treatments, and community resources. These duties include the following activities:  tracking of deadlines, coordination of and participation in initial and ongoing developmental assessments, program planning and communicating with an interdisciplinary team regarding progress and changes as needed with child, and providing direct services in the child’s natural environment requiring speech therapy services. Must be effective at engaging and training parents on treatments and strategies needed to assist in their child’s progression and development. Organizational skills are required in order to plan and prioritize work effectively. This is a remote, home office position. 

Job qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist or CFY/Intern

• Must be located in the state of Texas
• Previous experience in pediatric clinical and home health settings (preferred)
• Possess documentation needed to apply for a Speech Language Pathology-Intern License, if applicable
