Description

Oak Hall School is seeking an exceptional coach and leader to serve as the Head Coach of our Varsity Girls Soccer program. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Soccer Coach will oversee all facets of the Varsity Girls Soccer program at Oak Hall School. Oak Hall has a long history of success in soccer, and we now have a need for a coach who desires to rebuild our tradition of success and work with young players to help them develop their skills and grow as both soccer players and student athletes.

Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, this Head Coach will manage all aspects of building, growing and maintaining a competitive varsity girls soccer program, by promoting a positive team environment that ensures high levels of growth and learning for all athletes. As an active and collaborative member of the Athletic Department, and the greater Oak Hall community, this Coach will serve as a mentor for their athletes, and model outstanding sportsmanship and respect for opposing competitors and teams.

Qualifications

Significant athletic and competitive experience in soccer, and experience coaching high school level soccer, is preferred. In addition to having a strong base of knowledge and passion for soccer, and for the student-athlete experience, the ideal candidate will also possess an understanding of the social/emotional needs of middle and upper school-aged athletes and be fluent in different ways to communicate with and motivate athletes of varying skill levels and abilities.
