Wage band range $65,000 to $82,000/annual

Starting salary is typically between $69,000 and $72,000 annual; however, it is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Position is eligible to test for additional bilingual pay incentive.

$7500 Sign-On Bonus!!  Paid out at 90-day, 6-months and 1-year of service.

Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains in Camarillo, Casa Pacifica’s 25-acre Camino a Casa’s beautiful rural setting is four miles from the Pacific Ocean and midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.

Camino a Casa is a treatment program for youth and families in need of intensive mental health services providing multiple levels of exceptional service through a continuum of residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and intensive in-home programs. Residential and partial hospitalization services provide educational support. Our priority is to support the whole family system to support skill development through individual, group and family therapy as well as parenting support groups.  

We have an outstanding full-time clinical opportunity for a passionate clinician who enjoys working with youth, families and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position will provide short term individual, group and family therapy, developing treatment plans and completing documentation for regular utilization review by various commercial insurance carriers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated by typical activities):

  • Provides clinical services such as individual, family, and group therapy, parent skills training, and case management. 
  • Utilizes evidenced based practices that are appropriate to meet the clinical needs of the youth and family.
  • Collaborate with youth development specialists, recreation therapy staff, education staff, and health clinic staff, to provide comprehensive clinical care for the youth and to ensure program consistency and continuity throughout the day.
  • Confers with parents regarding school and facility activities, policies, and procedures as needed and appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining an organized and up-to-date clinical chart in compliance with commercial insurance standards and agency policy.
  • Completes clinical documentation in agency electronic health records.
  • Assists in program development and staff training to ensure the milieu is therapeutic.
  • Attends outside training events and conferences as requested.
  • Maintains compliance with all local, County, State, and Federal government regulations to Including Title 22, Division 6, and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • Licensed Masters supervisor professional experience with three to five years’ experience working with severely emotionally disturbed youth. 0-3 post licensed master level

CREDENTIALS: LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT with California license
