Contracted with the Department of Children and Family, we provide oversight to providers in central Florida who serve in the mental health and substance use disorder field in many settings, including schools and community settings. The Contract Specialist is responsible for the execution of assigned contracts and assuring contract compliance throughout the term of the contract. This is an important role at CFBHN and we are looking for the right person with the education, skills, and experience to match the role. Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned subcontracts, including writing and amending subcontracts. Review, track, and ensure contract deliverables are submitted according to contractual requirements
- Monitor and track performance and self-reporting performance measures
- Provide internal and external technical assistance related to the contracts, and answer questions as needed
- Process budget amendments in contract and finance systems (Carisk & BATS) as needed
- Obtain, review, and monitor provider reports, insurance certificates, licenses, and accreditations
- Ensure required documents are on file and updated (as needed) for assigned subcontractors
- Run reports to balance funding in BATS & Carisk and update other reports
- Contribute to the contract training manual and training materials to improve departmental processes
- Organize and host provider orientations and trainings
- Collaborate with the leadership team to respond to inquiries related to both CFBHN’s master contract and provider subcontracts
- Representing CFBHN in the community
- Provide contract updates to stakeholders on Regional Council calls
- Issue, monitor and track status of Performance Improvement Plans and Corrective Action Plans to providers who are out of compliance
- Other duties as assigned
