Via Seating is currently hiring for Part-Time Production Associates to join our team in Sparks, NV!!

We have a variety of shifts which start at either 5:00 am, 10:30 am or 11:00 am and work for anywhere

between 4 to 6 hours per day Monday - Thursday and some Fridays.

The Part-Time Production Associate is trained on all skill sets in the commercial chair build process to include cutting, wood/foam, kitting, upholstery and assembly. They need to have sound hand-eye coordination and be able to cope with moderate physical effort. All production associates will be classified and evaluated according to the skills required within each skill set for each value stream.

Pay Starts at $19.00/hour, possibly more DOE!

Desired Education and Skills:

  • A high school diploma/degree or GED is preferred
  • Experience working at VIA Seating combined with a willingness to learn a new skills set will be considered as commensurate with any of the above qualifications for any internal transfers.

Physical Demands:

  • Vision, hearing and speaking to meet performance standard
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time and to walk frequently.
  • The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
  • The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Typical production area in an environment that contains dust, odors, moderate level noise, and temperature & ventilation variations while wearing safety glasses
