One-Line Job Description

The Student Worship Tech oversees the execution of Student Ministry service production.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide all production technical support for Student services and events

    • build worship slides

    • design lighting

    • set up audio and tracks

    • edit videos for the Students Ministry YouTube channel

  • Oversee and lead the Student Tech Team, develop and train volunteers in all areas of production, schedule positions for services and events, and recruit new volunteers consistently

  • Work with the Student Pastor and Associate Student Pastor to determine other production needs or enhancements, which may include stage design ideas, series accents, etc.


Other Duties

  • Attend all Student Ministry Team meetings

  • Attend Wednesday morning Staff Prayer and All Staff meetings

  • Work assigned duties during All Hands On Deck events such as Christmas and Easter services

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Active All In Partner at Pantano Christian Church

  • Ability to learn and train production technology, including sound, video, and lighting equipment

  • Ability to lead student and adult teams

  • Experience with general church worship production a plus

  • Experience with ProPresenter and MultiTracks Playback a plus

  • Experience with mixing modern church worship a strong plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications

  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools

  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff

  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus

  • Experience with Google Drive a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel a plus

  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools, including Planning Center Online for scheduling
