Job Description

The Creative Project Coordinator is responsible for working with and bridging the gap between ministries and the creative team to execute and oversee all creative projects and deliver results to relative parties. This role is relational, administrative, creative, and requires the ability to lead others with organizational efficiency. 

  • Oversee and maintain the Event and Creative Request systems in Asana 
  • Work with Operations and Executive Team to maintain accuracy in church calendar  
  • Develop and maintain detailed back-off plans for Sunday series, tier 1 events, department events, department creative requests and internal Creative projects ensuring all resources meet necessary deadlines 
  • Conduct meetings with ministry teams to help them dream about the best way to execute their desired ministry function 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques i.e. Asana, Teams, Sharepoint, Google, etc.  
  • Schedule weekly and coordinate live hosting for Sunday mornings 
  • Oversee and assist in the on-boarding of volunteers to the sub-departments within Creative 
  • Assist in on-boarding of new employees to Creative team

Besides our Sunday “attend one, serve one” and Wednesday night attendance, we also get to serve at:

  • Egg Fest - A community event the Saturday before Easter providing Easter eggs, games, activities, and food for the whole family
  • Serve Day - An all-church event one Saturday in June devoted to serving local school districts and community partners providing campus beautification, repairs, and facility improvement.  
  • Candy Fest - A community event the weekend of Halloween providing candy, pumpkins, games, activities, food, and a carnival atmosphere for the whole family
  • Dream Team Night - one annual night to celebrate all of our volunteers, called Dream Teamers.
  • Oaks Women Nights - three Saturday gatherings a year for women from every age and season of life to be refreshed, inspired, and equipped.
  • Oaks Men Nights - two Saturday gatherings a year for men of all ages to build community, encourage, and strengthen others to live in their unique design and calling. 
Qualifications
  • Experience in leading teams and developing people is required 
  • Experience in communication field like media, broadcasting, event planning, marketing, project management or church creative ministry is required. 
  • Proficiency in various operating systems such as Mac and PC is required 
  • Basic understanding of live production, communication, video production and graphic design is required.  
  • Ability to recruit and lead a team of volunteers 
  • Must be able to multitask 
  • Must be able to work with a team 
  • Ability to proactively respond to work situations and challenges 
  • Organized and self-motivated 
  • Excellent in organization and project management methodologies  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and Asana Project Management Software
