Position Overview:

As the Corporate Development Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the CFO, you will have a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment requiring you to perform effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a small close-knit team that puts the goals of the team ahead of any competing priorities. To be successful in this role you will need be to an independent thinker, fact-based in your approach, act quickly and be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Additionally, you will need to be able to refocus priorities very quickly without letting tomorrow’s task slip through the cracks.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to quickly understand AccessOne’s products, pricing, and the key drivers of its financial performance.  In addition, you must be in tune with what is going on in the financial markets and understand the key drivers of Health Care Provider’s financial statements and credit profiles, as well as AccessOne’s key lending relationship and the related financial covenants.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare management reports and presentations of portfolio and financial metrics/KPIs.
  • Streamline the monthly financial reporting package, conduct financial analysis, and communicate conclusions of analysis in a concise manner.
  • Prepare client financial reporting and conduct analysis on data, including sales/pipeline, customer level profitability, and origination and portfolio projections.
  • Clearly articulate the drivers of financial performance compared to historical results and the forecast.
  • Support the coordination of quarterly Board of Director presentations
  • Assist in development of product pricing models, the Company’s revenue model and consolidated financial projections.
  • Model strategic acquisitions, debt compliance metrics and health care providers financial statements
  • Tracking and monitor the leading indicators of AccessOne revenue forecast. 
  • Assist in the annual corporate budgeting process.
  • Partner with IT in development and maintenance of Power BI financial reporting
  • Collaborate with HR to create and lead incentive and commission structures. 
  • Ad-hoc analyses as needed

  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to independently understand and analyze financial statements, days cash on hand, debt service coverage ratios and Health Care Provider’s debt ratios.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Be process focused, constantly looking for opportunities to make things simple and easy for other to follow and understand.
  • Proven track record in leading initiatives and managing small projects.
  • Must have high regard for ethics and integrity.

  • The ability to understand complex excel models and make them simple to understand and easy to update.

  • Willingness to work long hours, when necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or higher (accounting, finance or economics preferred)
  • Four years corporate financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel including fluency in building and using complex pivot tables and charts, advanced logic including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, macros/visual basic and embedded formulas/functions.
  • Advanced experience with analytics and financial modeling
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies specifically knowledge of big data and data analytical systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Consumer lending and/or investment banking experience
  • Experience with building reports in Power BI
