General Description: This position reports to the headmaster and provides administrative support for the headmaster

 

Qualifications

        ● Minimum of two years of college coursework in business or related field

        ● Minimum of three years of related experience

        ● A strong, clear Christian testimony

        ● A lifestyle of biblical integrity

        ● A spirit of dedication, commitment, flexibility, and responsiveness

        ● Responsive to leadership

        ● Effective writing and editing skills

        ● Strong interpersonal communication skills

        ● Strong organizational skills and detail–oriented

        ● Acceptance without reservation of the OCS Parent Covenant, Statement of Faith, Statement on Marriage and Sexuality, Statement on Diversity and Core Values

 

Duties and Responsibilities

        ● Provide general administrative support for the headmaster with communications, organization, scheduling, etc.

        ● Greet and assist visitors to the Headmaster’s Office

        ● Answer Headmaster’s Office phone

        ● Create, edit, and send Saints Weekly newsletter

        ● Edits and sends headmaster correspondence

        ● Carry out all board meeting and event logistics

        ● Carry out admin team retreat and event logistics

        ● Organize ACSI accreditation visit and oversees annual accreditation reporting

        ● Coordinate back-to-school schedule and program

        ● Plan Christmas and/or other all-staff events

        ● Coordinate with Spiritual Formation Director to carry out “Parent Universities”

        ● Oversee school master calendar

        ● Oversee constituent surveys and data collection

        ● Update school website as needed

        ● Oversee annual faculty recognition celebration and retirement “gifts”

        ● Additional duties as assigned by the headmaster
